Whiskey Run Trails, Bandon/Coos Bay, Oregon

Oregon's only Enduro Race Series heads to the Southern Oregon Coast for Race 2 of the 2026 season at the legendary Whiskey Run Trails! The most celebrated trail system on the Oregon Coast, Whiskey Run is a must-ride destination and a fan favorite on the Dirt Wave series.

Registration is open now at thedirtwave.com.

Spots are limited so do not wait!

Saturday, July 18 — FREE Day of Dirt and Good Vibes
Saturday is completely free and open to everyone! Join Wild Coast Trail Association for a free morning dig day from 10:30am to 1pm and give back to the incredible trails we get to race on.

No experience needed, just show up ready to have fun and get your hands dirty! After the dig the club will lead a group ride on the trails so you can get your legs under you before race day. Come hang out even if you are not racing on Sunday!

Sunday, July 19 — Race Day
New for 2026, we are doing something we have never done before in the history of the Dirt Wave!

For the first time ever, riders will take on two different race courses in a single event. Your first run sends you down the beloved Gnome Wrecker, a black diamond dream of loamy tread, flowing berms, steep gradients, and technical features that will keep you on the edge of your saddle from start to finish.

Then, for your second run, we are sending you down Loam Wrecker, steep, loamy, and loaded with technical features that will demand everything you have got. Best combined time across both runs takes the win. Two iconic black diamond trails, one epic race day.

See you at the start line!

Trail Work Party - Brush Edition, Part Deux!

We will be clearing brush for our June work parties! This time of year, brush makes the trails NOT fun to ride, and more likely riders and their four-legged friends will get ticks.

The tool trailer will be on site, but if you have a weed eater, bring it along as we'll need as many as we can get!!

Please also bring sturdy, comfortable shoes and gloves as we will be working for about 2-3 hours. Also bring water, snacks, and your bike if you want to ride afterwards.

Plan to arrive by 9:45a so we can start working at 10a.

Trail Work Party

Meet at the main Whiskey Run parking lot. We will be primarily clearing drainages and blow down to clear the trails of needles and debris.

This will help keep that base layer of gunk off the trails and help them dry quicker during the upcoming rainy season.

If you have a blower or rake, please bring! We have some but more blowers will absolutely help!

Also, please bring water, sturdy shoes, gloves, snacks, and your bike if you want to ride afterwards.

We recommend arriving at 9:45am so we can start promptly at 10am.
